Overview: People’s journal Sri Lanka is a double-blind peer-reviewed scholarly journal published twice a year (June and December) by People.lk collaboration with History & Archaeology Department University of Ruhuna. The objective of the peer-review process is to ensure that high quality scientific research is published.
Aims and scope: The primary objective of the journal is to establish a forum for scholars, academicians, researchers, and professionals to disseminate their research articles encompassing a diverse array of disciplines, which include, but are not confined to: Social Sciences and Sciences. The journal aspires to publish manuscripts that are constructed upon all dimensions of theoretical, empirical, or case-oriented investigations, and it welcomes contributions from the aforementioned domains, thereby emphasizing recent advancements within each respective field.
Objective: Foster collaboration between various social sciences disciplines and Science to explore complex societal issues.

Guidelines for Authors
Authors can submit their manuscripts, prepared adhering to following guidelines in soft copies in Microsoft Word file (.doc or .docx) to the peoplesjournalsrilanka@gmail.com
It should be ensured that the manuscripts are originals neither published no under consideration for publication elsewhere. The journal accepts manuscripts written both in English and Sinhala. The length of the paper should not exceed 20 pages.
Structure of the manuscript
- Abstract
The abstract should be concise and factual with maximum 250 words. Provide 3- 5 keywords
that best describes your research paper.
- Article should include following components;
- Introduction (and Literature Review)
- Objectives
- Methodology
- Results (and Analysis)
- Discussion (and Conclusion)
- References
- Divide the article into clearly defined and numbered sections. Subsections should be numbered 1, 2, (then 1.1, 1.1.1, 1.1.2) 1.2, etc.

- EXAMPLES OF ITEMS IN A REFERENCE LIST Although the format for books, journal articles, magazine articles and other media is similar, there are some slight differences. Items in a reference list should be double-spaced. Also, use hanging indents: entries should begin flush left with subsequent lines indented.
- Citation and References: Use APA system.

Submission of manuscripts
Soft copies of the following two documents should be submitted before the
stipulated date.
(a) The manuscript (without author information)
(b) A separate title page
The title page should be submitted including the title of the article, name(s) of the
authors(s), the affiliations and addresses of the author(s), the email address and
telephone number of the corresponding author.
